Kozłowski, Józef — Italian and French Canzonas

Born in Kozlovichi in the Slawharad region into a family of Belarusian nobility, Józef Kozlowskі (1757–1831) was known as an older rival of Oginski in the polonaise genre and as his music teacher. He spent most of his life composing music at the Russian Imperial Court.
